so today... i come back from home... and get to my apartment... the apartment smells like nasty microwaved food (my roomie probably just ate)... so i scan the living room and kitchen... i wiped everything down, cleaned the kitchen, vacuumed the floors... before i left so i knew that people had kicked it at the apartment... and i also found like 1/4 of a smirnof vodka handle left in the frij... so i basically spray the shit outa the rooms with fabreeze. later on i see some chunky ass shit in my sink (we have 2 bathrooms... 1 is masterbed which is my roomies and one is in the hallway which is mine) and im like w/e right? might have been something else... so i smell it and its fucking puke... and i find cheese on the ground... what the fuck? thers a sign on my bathroom door that says "USE OTHER BATHROOM" which applies to my roomie's friends... who the fuck pukes in a fucking sink anyways? i mean if those pre-med frat bitches knew more about plumbing they would know that chunky shit like that would get clogged up in the pipes. fucking dumbasses... what the fuck should i do? i for sure am a clean guy and i dont like bitching at people... but when people fuck with my shit should i clap back and show them some force... ie... kick to the groin, punch to the face, wave a blunt knife at their necks, throw him out, tackle them, etc... or should i straight up talk...

i have not asked much from the room mate... just to close the windows because it lets dust in and to keep the commons somewhat clean... SINCE I DO ALL THE CLEANING ANYWAYS. i havent done anything that could possibly upset that motherfucker.

In short, if your roomie has people over he should be responsible for cleaning up any messes they cause. Puke that goes untouched is completely unacceptable. he needs to have more respect for you as a roommate. I would definitely bring this to the table quick.

I would just tell him that it's annoying the shit out of u. If it doesnt change then maybe u should move?? Im not exactly the cleanest of them all. I mean I can be messy sometimes but never dirty. PUKE AND SHIT??? That's just fucking gross!!! OMFG If I someone did that to my place and doesnt clean it up, I'd go crazy on them.

PS- get new locks for your bathroom and lock it whenever u go out. Forget the signs as most people dont even pay attention to them anyways.

If possible keep your doors locked, heck even resort to locking your bathroom from the inside when you're gone so they can't get in w/o trying... ie. using a screwdriver to unhook the lock (if that's the style knob your door has). They should get the hint.

Plus I think you shouldn't clean up jack after them. I know it annoys the heck out of you so you end up cleaning it, but it's not right. He obviously is taking it for granted and has NO respect and neither do his friends.

Straight up talk to him, lay it all down and tell him this is unacceptable. Who has more of a right to stay in the apartment? I guess with one roommate it might be hard to get rid of each other. But if this doesn't change after the talk then I'd move. And do it w/o warning so he'd have to find a roommate fast :P

first off, i don't know how you didn't throw up after seeing that shit. second, no talks will help, i'm speaking out of experience. on first occasion or whenever your lease is up, either find another roommate or move out to live with someone else.

i agree with nikki, roommates suck ass! i had to deal with this shit my first two years of college and never again!

My best advice in order to help prevent shit happening and without starting stuff with the roomate is LOCKS on the doors. Lock your bedroom and lock your bathroom. He will get the point.
