Worst roads in the US....

So Louisiana's road quality is ranked DEAD LAST among the 50 states, are you surprised!?!?

And yet their roads are probably better than ours.

I don't know about that. Have you ever driven on Louisiana roads? Especially southern LA. The foundation and land is sinking due to the vast wetlands and coastal erosion.

I'm surprised they beat out MS. Jackson sits atop a prehistoric volcano, which makes for lots of shifting of soil and sinkholes.

Good thing that I also have a X5 to get around downtown/uptown NO area, my E90 would've been destroyed if I bring that thing downtown. When I have to go there in my E90, I make sure that I route my way carefully, lol that's sad.

I'm skeptical of this article, since they also rate CA roads as one of the worst.

Ummm, my sister lives in socal Chino Hills area. Roads in Pomona area and even downtown LA aren't exactly nice, pot holes and uneven roads are common.

On the other hand, roads in OC (Irvine) area are ridiculously nice.

I can't say that I have.

New Orleans roads are the worst I have ever been on.

5 years with my WRX = 4 flats, and 2 bent rims. I guess that is pretty good considering the low profile tires. If I was dropped, forget it.....

Sometimes HALF the road is missing on some streets, crazy elevations, jagged edges. It's a nightmare.

Well I know what you are talking about man. That's why I leave my X5 alone (no rims, no drop....no nothing) for the task of going downtown.

And if I am forced to bring E90 downtown, I planned out my route way ahead of time.

Honolulu is pretty bad. Potholes all over. When it rains (which is always) you cant see em.
