Lightbulb so there's a bird...

it flies to a bench outside my room every day..

hops along a few steps..

then after a variable amount of time, flies further onto my backyard bbq area, then later totally away..

but it's the same bird
everyday

i can tell from the type/eyes/size..

everyday
same ritual
different times sure but like everyday or almost everyday far as I remember he/she comes

is this normal
should i try to befriend it??

This post is right on the verge of making sense, but not quite there.

Maybe you could tame it? I had a frog like that at my old house, it was a totally wild green frog. After feeding it crickets for several weeks it let me poke it and touch it, and eventually pick it up.

A little yellow birdie
with a little yellow bill
landed on my window sill.
I lured him in with a peice of bread,
then I crushed his fucking head.

Haha I remember years ago there were some baby birds (maybe mocking birds?) that would chirp late into the night (I mean like 12-1 am) and then start chirping again at like 5 am. It's not just chirping but like a freaking symphony going on. They sounded like they were just outside the window and were so freaking loud. It almost drove me to insanity.

I say try to befriend him. I did it to a squirrel a few years back, which was awesome. My squirrel friend would come wait for food at the door. Who else has a pet squirrel waiting for them? NOBODY.
