BMW 328 goes for over $5.5 million in Sporting Classics auction @ Monaco

undoubtedly one of the most beautiful bmws ever built. Having seen it in person last year on Frankfurt's motor show it was definately the highlight of the day. It sounded fantastic too when he opened up the throttle!

the meaning of frivolous is relative. somebody who buys a $5.5M car has several other multi-million dollar cars/collections. It would be like somebody with a comfortable salary who drives a honda. They look at driving a 50-60K BMW as frivolous.

+1, I agree that BMW 328 "Mille Miglia" is one of the most handsome cars BMW has ever built.
