Sad that it's over... I think that it ended "okay", but it honestly don't know how they would have done any better. There were way too many open doors for them to close in 10 episodes (or whatever it was). The show was getting so confusing that I think they were loosing their audience with every new season, hence the quick ending... Definitely one of the better shows of the last 10-15 years. Crazy to think back where I was at when it started...

no, what happened on the island happened. The flash backs, and forwards were real too. The flash sideways did not happen, it was a place between life and the afterlife. Jack's dad explained it in the end. There was no "now" and time was irrelevant in the sideways world. It was a world where the castaways created so they could all meet up again when they all died. The last person they were waiting for was jack.
