Stupid Ass Teenagers

Before anyone starts jumping into biases, I want to say that I'm a teenager myself and I'm 17 years old. Spare me the bullshit about how I'm spoiled, because for my loss I believe that receiving a 325i was nothing compared to what I suffer (not that I don't appreciate the car).

I was driving home today after meeting my mom at the bank. I was on the 101 heading West and I got off at the Valley Circle exit. Behind me there was this idiot driving in a 645CI, at first I couldn't see whether it was some stupid teenager driving his dads 6 or if it was some immature adult. As I pull off the freeway I'm driving down Valley Circle (North) towards my house and theres a little bit of traffic, what can you do? Its 5:30, its rush hour, nothing you can do about it. So this idiot in his 645 decides to cut everyone off from the middle lane (where you make left turns), zooming past everything and then just dissapears by cutting someone off. There wasn't anything I can do about it so I just continued on, driving speed limit mind you. Eventually I get closer to my house and next to me at the stop sign is, guess who? After cutting everyone off and driving like an idiot, I manage to get next to this guy, so I look through my window to see what kind of idiot is driving this car, some teenage kid with his friends thinking his cool because he drives his dads 6, the guy was probably 16 or 17, my age. So he zooms past the stop sign (doesn't stop) and almost hits some guy trying to make a lane change in front of him (like an idiot). I honked my horn to let him know that hes an idiot for running the stop sign and that hes about to hit the car in front of him. I continue on and roll down my window, before the next stop sign I tell him he's a fucking spoiled ass moron. To add to his immaturity he asks if I want to race, okay buddy, sure, I'll race you in my 325i which dynos like 170hp to the rear wheels against your dad's 645ci? Sure man no problem. (sarcasm) So to piss this kid off, I'm like "Okay lets run it bitch" The kid starts honking his horn and starts flashing his lights, so I give him the honks and take off with him (mind you theres a minivan in front of him), so I drive fast enough to pull next to the minivan and drive the same exact speed as the minivan to piss him off. I saw him trying to swirve and flash his lights yelling and screaming while I was sitting there laughing. At the next stop sign I turned and went home, and in my rear view saw him make an illegal U-turn cutting off 3 people at 3 way stop sign.

Fucking idiots, people like that shouldn't be able to drive, and surely enough it has already affected me. As stated before "my loss" was my brother, who passed away in a motorcycle accident because some idiot who shouldn't be driving (suspended license) refused to listen to the law, as well as refused to halt to make a left turn and not giving my brother the right away.

Edit: I have friends that drive like idiots too, don't think that I give them props because there parents buy them M3s, M6s, G35s, etc after totalling, getting there license suspended, and getting numerous tickets. I let them know that they're the biggest fuck ups ever, regardless of the car they drive.

its funny... my best friends are the most legal drivers ever... haha best friend w/ g35 has gotten 5 tickets (various ones) since he got his license 3 years ago... and now he actually cruises at 68mph on highway... haha im like wow.

but yeah... i only cut people off when i know theres alot of room... but i try not to make it seem so obvious... i leave lots of room before i cut back into a lane... haha

Coming from a fellow motorcycle driver i am sorry for your loss..I too used to drive like a maniac in my civic hatch w/type r swap

..I used to be so nasty that both my sideview mirrors would constantly tap the sides of people's cars..

now i cruise in my bimmer and shake my head at 17yr old dickhead drivers..I'm 29 now btw..No old jokes from anyone..

dont pay attention to them. the only way to show your maturity is to not let it bother you.

kids who grow up sheltered like that will get whats comin to them. aka after daddy and mommy are gone and when they step out in to the real world and dont have a clue how to make a real living, cuz they've been mootching off mommy and daddy their whole lives. in 20 years, when that 16 year old is 36, he'll be driving a geo metro, while the rest of us who know how to work will be driving m6's. we'll see who's boss then

I would just call that kid a dumbass, who weaves in traffic? it doesnt take much skill, and when the traffic is heavy, weaving will not get you anywhere, its pointless. I can tell you werent the only person that day who was pissed at that brat, im sure all the other motorists were cussing the kid out in their cars.

Someone has almost ran into me everytime I went out near the mall this week. I think I'm just going to park the car till the Christmas rush is over and drive something else. Too many crazy drivers during christmas shopping season. When does the rush usually die down?

Okay smart ass, I didn't race him first of all, I was driving speed limit the whole way home. He asked me if I wanted to race so I sped up quickly driving the same speed (speed limit - 40 mph) next to a van to piss the guy off because he was in such a "racing" mood that he would of done anything to pass me (like cut me off on the other side of the road, but there was no where he could go) so I basically drove speed limit to piss him off, so instead of talking out of your ass, how bout you read the thread first. It was more of a rant, but the point was the irony, to show how a stereotype that all teenagers drive like idiots is and isn't true. Thats all. Trust me, there are more pointless posts on this forum then mine.

So I guess this is life in the OC. Adolecents test the the barriers of life, it helps define their perspective on the world that surrounds them. Its unfortunated that we get caught up in this ordeal time to time.
