Can anyone tell me how remove the head set on 06 530xi the driver and passenger set. Is there a trick to it. Is there a video step that i can't follow. Trying to put a pillow head rest w/ 7' lcd screen. Just need to swap it out. can get the original off. Please help? I ask someone this last year. But I tried what he told me.
This is what he stated (Just extend your head rests all the way up and then pull upwards. There are two "poppable" holes that the headrests click into. If you pull up, they should come out.) Nope. I'm still trying to get it off and there isn't "poppable" holes that the head rest click into. Anyone else have any idea?

heres what someone said on DTMPower about a e36 and e30, I would imagine its the same concept - should help you out:

for e36, u gotta sit on the seat facing the back of the car and sorta, pull upwards and jiggle it front to back, and it pops out,, it's got a head at the end of the metal rods.. i'm guessing it's the same for almost every car
