not only is this statement "rice"

but you have not mentioned transmissions which play as big a role as an engine...

but better yet, who cares? if you want a bmw that you could actually brag about drag times, tune a 335....

apples and oranges. Honda is a great commuter with decent power now. BMW is more tuned for driving experience.

no offense to 06 E90 owners but 325/330 are underpowered no matter which way you go at it (think G35 / Lexus IS350 horses) which why there was a nice boost for 07 bimmers

German horses and Japanese horses are two different grades entirely. 1 German horse is equal to 2 Japanese horses. Which means the 330i has as much power as a 510HP Infinity or Lexus.

I have an accord v6, but never raced a BMW before. I also never took it to the track, because of the front wheel drive ( I hate to say it, but front wheel drive is for comuting, not racing). All I know is that the car feels quick for what its worth, and I wish it had a RWD. I think 0-60 mph on the accord should be the same as the one on the 330i actually...but again you did not mention trans. type

manual vs manual who will win?

Auto honda vs manual 325i, who will win?

I think you all are afraid that a honda will kick the e90's arse. I'd like proof that 244 horses in a ricer is slower than 215 horses on a kraut.

I don't drive anything other than BMW.

For God sake's, I hope you are a little teenager who just became fascinated with street racing.

Street racing is beyond stupid, you get a rush for several seconds and put the lives of those around you at risk.

I had a 2004 Accord coupe V6 before. I had all the bolts on you can get and was tuned via v-afcII aka the Vtec controller. The car is torqueless compared to a BMW.

It was a nice car for $26,000, but that is where it ends. I was running low 14s with it in 1/4 mile.

you guys....this thread is pointless...of course the honda will beat the 325...Like I said before the accord V6 is running head to head with a 330i...Torqueless or not the numbers are numbers....

You know there has been a lot of talk about 0-60 times and so on. i am thinking that BMW is leaving that behind. Why? The way the engines are set up. I have thinking that it is no longer a 0-60 becuase anybody can go fast from a start it is about the 35-120 now. Something I have been thinkging about with the new M3 coming. example if you can dial in 0-60 in less then 5 seconds and then keep the same time from 35-120+ that is where it is at and a lot of people are not....um Honda.

the accord V6 should pull on the 325 probably up until 100 at least.

Hell, no, I had the Accord V6 (2004) and it is OK 0-80 maybe, then it hits the dead spot (range). They claim 5.9 0-60, it is dfefinitely not true, although Accord vs Camry should be comparison.
Accord is nice, but once you get to BMW, there is no turning back...

we are not talking about street racing you old fogies. We are talking about how dumb jap car owners are saying that they can kick our bavarian engines to bits. egging us to race and pointing out our hp numbers to us and telling us how we paid for poser status not precision engineeering.
