Sorry but I'd sell the SLK...I would never own that car even if it was free. I just don't like it. Yea I would take a hit of 10K and even more and trade it in

I like the SLK. I think it's a nice roadster but like you said it's not practical. It might be a nice weekend car but for every day the 335i would be the better option. If you like it then just go for it.

SLK will out maneuver the 335i due to size
but they're completely different cars I'd take my 335i over my mom's SLK any day the slk isn't practical :/

335i >> SLK. More seats, and it's faster... much faster!

Thanks for chiming in guys. Well, I put my SLK up for sale at a family friend's dealership, so hopefully I'll be fielding in good offers.
I agree the 335i is definitely faster, but I'll missing squeezing in tight spaces with the SLK in traffic On a side note, I've found a used 2008 335i with only 11k miles going for 22k. What's the catch? It has been repaired after a fender damage collision on the passenger side. It had slight frame damage but the dealer fixed it all up and claims the damage has been repaired. I test drove the car myself and did some crazy turns just to see how bad the body rolls are and the 335i still managed to hold on snug to the road. So what do you guys think? Is it worth the gamble for the price? Sport package, prem. package, black on black, just how I like it! |

The car does carry a salvage title and I'm pretty sure the warranty is void. (But my dad's E60 M5 is also salvage, but is lucky enough to still have the warranty intact when getting serviced at the dealership) However, from my understanding, the HPFP is still covered under 120,000 warranty regardless of salvage title (which is what I'm most concerned about because of all the horror stories I've heard).

^ Pshhh show off. lol
I like the SLK though. It does look nice and I've always wanted one. It's just so damn expensive for what it is. I mean the SLK280 starts at about $48k which is ridiculous. I'd rather buy a Z4 or add about $6k more for an M3. |

I wouldn't call it cheap but then again I didn't expect any Mercedes love from a BMW forum. To each his own, but I do think BMW>Mercedes in terms of performance and looks.
