holy shit! i always thought of what a modern day version of the stratos would look like. its looks sick. one can only pray that with FIAT coming back to the states, more italian brands will follow (Lancia, Alfa Romeo...). It's even got a roof spoiler. i think we can crown this WRC champ now.

My first impression was WOW, but after a while the front fenders look kind of crude the way they sharply intesect the hood. The way the rear window line comes up over the roof is odd too. Need more pics. I wish it was under Fiat so there could be a chance that we might eventually get them in the US. Chrysler Stratos.

Wow, that looks interesting, I hope that the Fiat Chrysler arrangement means that interseting products like that might find their way to this side of the pond!

Not that it really matters, since the car appears to be a one-off, but Fiat does own Lancia, and Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Maserati. Basically, if it has four wheels and is at least Italian in name, odds are it's part of Fiat.

A lot of the cars under the Fiat/Chrysler partnership will be coming over as Fiats. The 500 is one of them that will keep its Fiat badging. There will likely be a "Chrysler version", but there will be Fiats in the States as well. |

[quote=ChrisV;7768380]I take it you've never seen an original Stratos.
http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&r...og&sa=N&tab=wi Ah, I don't recall the roof spoiler so the pics make more sense. The fender intersection still seems more extreme, less blended than the original. It's a true classic shape.

New pics!
This car is said to be based on the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, and so has a 4.5l V8 with 510 HP. IMO it looks extremly HOT. I'd take this over a Lotus and Cayman.

Awesome! That is one of my most desired old cars, along with the E30 M3 and the Audi Quattro. The new one looks sweet!

Sadly, this isnt a concept, but a one-off design from Pininfarina for a really rich client.
