~ 15 minutes. After being up for 5 straight days back in college, in the middle of the 3 hour drive home I was getting drowsy so I pulled over for a power nap.

The gf and I had a power nap around 2am for 20 minutes after a Chinatown late night dinner. We woke up to.......... a parking ticket. I know the guy saw us sleeping in there too, we were under a street lamp. Probably tippy-toed around and slipped the ticket under the wiper blade.
Longest I've slept in a car I'd have to ask my parents, since I was probably an infant. Probably during a road trip to NYC or something. Longest I can recall is around 5 hours. |

After a conference of jumping and dancing around all weekend. I fell asleep in KY and woke up in FL. Fourteen Hours.
Related note: I have also conditioned my body to sleep in moving vehicles as my family took car trips all the time as a kid.

I sometimes crash in my car in between classes. Its the only place on campus that can be considered comfortable.

As a passenger in any vehicle, not long. I could never sleep in a moving car; too much of a control freak I guess. I don't like being a passenger period.
In general, overnight. I've arrived at campsites late and just crashed instead of dealing with the tent. In those cases, I was in a SUV or van. In my 335? Never ever. |

~4 hours in the school parking lot. Stayed up all night studying for exam. Got to school at 8 am for my morning class. Decided not to go and slept until noon, ate and then went to the class I had the exam in at 1. Was a good nap...
School's too cheap to buy some couches for you guys? We have an awesome lounge in our Business School with some comfy chairs. It's usually packed though. There are plenty of other places with comfy couches/seating areas to crash though. |
