Because if you stop your a bigger target then you already are...or Your escorting someone or something important and you can't stop because if you do your bigger target.
Notice he wasn't hurting anyone, just letting them know he's not joking when it comes to getting out of the way. |

Looks more to me like he was showing off...
You're a big target at rest or at 10 mph...not a big difference... Then we wonder why they don't throw the roses at us over there... |

No he was not showing off. Our military is a constant target over there. Maybe you should spend a week over there getting shot at and we'll see how you drive.

You have a comment for everything. Next thing you'll say it's GWB fault for the way he's driving. Its not a game over there, its not about showing off, its about doing your job and staying alive and protecting your buddies so you can come home and see your family. |

I didn't say it was GWB fault...but then when I think about it...if it was not for GWB he would not be there...so yes, you're right. As for bad mothing soldiers (or non-soldiers) -- I always will the ones not doing things right, that is the beauty of free expression, that supposedly they are trying to establish over there. If the soldiers in Haifa killed civilians -- hell yes, I will bad moth them (AND THEIR SUPERIORS). THe prison torture -- hell yes. Driving like you own the road over there -- YEAH! We see the shots from Iraq daily our soldiers driving on the streets of Iraq but this is the first one like this... Are the others less targets than this one??? And don't dude me you empty headed robot... |

As for the people in America standing "behind me and my ideas", i.e. agreeing with most what I said here...hmmm...ah, it is only 70% of the population... I said before and I say again -- you're just doing your job over there. There will always be some of you doing stupid things -- Haifa example, Abu Garib, Driving like a nut... I don't care for those. As for you, and similar to you (that I suppose were doing their dutu the right way), I applaud you and hope all of you will return soon, and never do it again. So, chill... |

driving like an "nut" is a part of the job ............ lets see how you would drive if every coke can could be a i.e.d. and every kid running across the street could be to slow you down so that coke can could take you out .............. im not in iraq......... but if i was i would not stop or slow down i would probably drive a whole hell of a lot faster ................ people like you would love to have video of that ..........to spin ............... america will wake up........ hope its before its too late.................

i've never been over there and i thank god and pray that i won't have to, but i have had friends over there
he was in the business of escorting w/ a humvee. he was the gunner actually - slept w/ the 50 cleaned and polished under his bed. he was telling me how many of the early humvees over there didn't have doors or shields for the gunner. it's all differing perspectives. i wouldn't necessarily fault the humvee for having to drive like that, and i wouldn't fault an ambulance here for driving like that either - diff crisis, same situation.

He was honking his horn trying to have everyone get out of his way. I'm certain that if my life were at stake knowing that I was driving such a conspicuous vehicle that said "SHOOT ME" or "BLOW ME UP," I would do anything not to stop.

Otherwise, I repeat again, we have seen many shots of Iraq and our military vehicles driving on the streets over there, and none of them was doing it...so moving target at 10 mph or 2 mph...not a big difference... |
