IS, G35, 335i, and Acura tested :)
I was roaming Clublexus for a good topic to read and saw someone posted a thread of a comparo done on these 4 cars. Apparently the 335i and g35 Tied. Thats pretty cool if you ask me. Curious though why the thread says the 335i started out in 3rd. I mean, stock for stock, I'm sure its faster than all those cars off the line, even if ever soo slightly.
Sorry if this is a repost. heres the link http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=266598 |

i'm not surprised the G35 tied it with the 335, it's no regular G35, it's a type S skyline...and i beleive they are lighter than the G35s we see here...
also, the G35 started in front of the 335... btw...you can only trust the laptimes, and not the races between all 4 cars together, becuase you can't pass cars that easily unless your car is really that dominant against the rest... ps. 335 still got the fastest laptimes... |

Yes, the 335i was clearly the fastest around the track. |

I usually just watch best motoring for fun. I don't really trust them that much. they are somewhat biased toward Jap cars.

The "Type SP" is just the North American G35S (a different trim level). I believe you're thinking of the GT-R, which is a completely different car. |

IMO, you can't really compare a FWD car to RWD. Their just totally different.

why did they race in rain? I would expect 335i pass all of the 3 cars easier in a dry day. G35x and subie has the advantage at a wet track.

I don't understand Japenese, however there seems to be a clear bias on the show to the new Nissan Skyline (Infiniti G35). I took it as an hour long Nissan commercial.
It reminds me of the Ford Fusion ads here, where all of these auto-professionals prefered the AWD Ford Fusion over the Accord and Camry. |

It was a G35 review haha, that's why they spent time talking about it.
The 335i had the best lap time and was all over the G35, I think it made a great showing; not sure why you guys are so offended by it. |

When the bimmer wins, no one says the comparison is biased, and no one would judge the fairness by saying whether the cars have sport or non-sport packages. When any car but bimmer wins, so many "unfair" comments came out. Hahaha........Tell you the truth, E90 is not that dominant like E36 once was, performance-wise or look-wise. IS beats E90 in the looks department, and G35 catches 335i in the performance department, and both offer better value and better reliability.
