Mitsubishi official says Evo franchise is dead
http://www.autoblog.com/2011/03/02/r...chise-is-dead/
Is it me or does this sound like a really stupid idea? The only mitsu cars that ppl buy in NA are the evo and outlander........ |

As a whole, Mitsubishi is NOT doing well in North America. There is a possibility they may pull out of this market in the next few year.

Wouldn't doubt it. There's nothing exceptional coming out of their product line. The competition is ahead in pretty much every category. The Evo is the only product with cache coming from their brand.

Really really sucks, I've always been a huge fan of the Evo, and what makes it worse is that they are replacing it with boring ass hybrid eco-boxes. The Evo was the only thing that made Mitsubishi exciting.

That's terrible news. I'll miss it for sure
It was an awesome car, one of the only cars that can go fast on almost any terrain like a Subie. Road legal rally cars are still cool! Plus it's also the only car Mitsu makes that the automotive community seems to love and respect.

Desperate times for the M division. Thanks to the clown Kay Segler.
