i REALLY like the new volvo C30. I sat in it at the dallas auto show about 2 weeks ago.
The GTi is king of hatches, and I was going to purchase that car before getting a good deal on my 128i. My brothers wife had the older volvo C30. She loved it, except they sold it and get her an SLK55 AMG. Both cars are great IMO. Just personal preference I guess. Both are quick, and have great interiors.

C30. I haven't driven it, but I have driven the new v50 t5 w/ same engine as the c30. Shockingly quick, yet still a safe car. And the premium audio package offered in volvos is incomparably superior, if you're even concerned with that sort of option. Safety is a plus in the Volvo as well.

I couldn't bring myself to buy either. Why those two? Just curious.

It depends on which Review you are lookin At least, the One Series got allways a Big - for the RFT... Get "normal" Tires --> better Laptimes (wich i don't Care) and a Lot more comfort And they are much cheaper But anyway, the R32 is a great Car, sadly that he lost His 6Pack (like the One in the Next Modell )

I'm selling my 1er and I want to pick up something for cash. So far those two, along with the C230, are at the top of my list. |

Hey OP, what about a Corvette, its technically a hatchback
All jokes aside, did you consider a Audi A3? If its either the two, it would probably be the C30 for me. But I would also look into the background and reliability of this car as these things are important to me as well.
