Audi A1 Clubsport Quattro Concept - 500bhp wtf
Audi A1 clubsport quattro Concept
2.5 5 cylinder TFSI 503 hp 486.79 lb-ft Maximum power 2,500 - 5,300 rpm. Weight 1390kg 0-60mph = 3.7s More details and pics: http://www.netcarshow.com/audi/2011-...attro_concept/ I think this new 2.5 TFSI engine is amazing for tuning! That's 200hp/litre. Noone needs a 500bhp A1 so I say stop making these stupid concepts and focus on making a new RS4 and the next RS6.

I think you are missing the point of this and other concepts. What have the recent ones all had in common?
![]() The same 2.5L engine. ![]() Up to now the output was just over 400hp, hinting that this figure is destined for some future RS model. Well now the figure has jumped to 500hp, showing the potential of it ability and be in no doubt that even at 200hp/L this engine isn't some laggy undrivable monster, it's as civilised as any RS car. I'm willing to bet that this engine will power a longitudily mounted RS model very soon. ![]() |

^^
True. There's no way Audi have spent time developing the engine so much and tuning it even further for no reason. We've already seen it in the TT-RS and RS3 so I bet we'll see it again. I'm sure the RS4 will have the 4.2 V8 but I would rather see this monster in it!
