facebook and coworkers
when a coworker requests you on FB do you limit your coworkers from viewing certain parts of your page or allow then free access to all..
they cant view my pictures or comments. my main reason is i dont need them viewing my shit while they are at work which i know would be a good chance, some people are just careless with it..

i would only let them view next to nothing. work and facebook don't mix, unless you're good friends with certain coworkers. tagging photos is deadly...what if you get tagged in something embarrassing and it becomes water cooler conversation? i do the same thing with family...they can only see my basic profile information, nothing else. i don't want my party pics showing up in their news feed.

Problem with this is that when you deny someone's request.... they hold it against you like a grudge

Like if I'm seeing a girl, and I meet her friend like once and her friend goes and adds me that same night or something...it's a real pain.

My coworkers never asked to be added and I never asked to add them so no problems there... I like to keep work and personal life separate.

Facebook will be the thing of the past in a year or 2.

just make your facebook unsearchable... and if some coworkers asks you about your fb, u can say that you dont have one. and if u want to add some specific person, u can add them at your own discretion. that way u have full control.
