Favorite/ Best Sports Convertible
Just dreaming here, but whats your favorite sports convertible? Price range 50k-150k
I'd be looking at a porsche 911 carrera cabrio, any other comparable ideas? something to enjoy beautiful mediterranean sunsets from preferably with beautiful girl in the passenger seat :P (this is a GTS but it's got the sunset thing right)

^ that isn't in the right price range.... I would have to say the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster is HANDS DOWN the best vert under 150k

I never liked the first gen Gallardo - I actually thought it was ugly, especially the front end. Although it does fit into the OP's price range, I'd rather have myself a 6-speed 360 Spider. It may be slower but I love the way it looks and it's scream can't be beaten by any V8, not even by the 430 and 458.

I'd go used. The prices on 360 spiders is looking pretty good right now, compared to new.

I second TK's notion that first gen Gallardos looked like ass, especially the verts.
It'd be a tough call between the R8 4.2 and 911 GTS cab. Both are exceptional and have faced each other in comparos with the Audi coming on top, but I'd be hard struck to make a choice. Bump the price range up to 200k and I'd be choosing between these two: If the ceiling is 100 kays I'd be taking a Boxster Spyder instead. If this was my money in reality I'd take the hardtop versions instead though, minus the Boxtser.

I'm talking about cars that are brand new, not used cars..

Oh and if you're disregarding the price range, I'd go with a 16M - it may make no sense whatsoever... but that makes me want it more
But just wait for the 458 Spider. That thing will be in a league of it's own. |

no, but why wouldn't it be so. At least when I decided on what car under 150k I tried to keep them as new cars only.
