The coming months will have with the premiere of 1 Series F20 , F10 M5 and F13 6 Series Coupe and the presentation of the sixth-generation 3 Series with the internal designation of F30 to offer some, but of course it works in Munich as well as the other models. From the 1 Series, there is the three-door model (F21) , a new 3 Series Touring (F31) is also at the door as the Gran Coupe 6 Series (F06) and for the 7-series (F01) is a facelift on the program.
With all these innovations could be the X-models almost lose sight of, but here is the quiet time is not: A few months after the facelift for the BMW X5 is one such life-cycle pulses for the X6 on the plan, thus can complete this second part of its model cycle under ideal conditions.

According to our information there is, of course, official statements and images to the facelift for the BMW X6 give during the next summer, when the German dealers will then lift off the fall 2012. Visually, the changes will be limited as usual, we expect mainly revised light units and new aprons for front and rear.
In this context, the LED-powered, white corona rings for daytime running lights and an even more modern night optics illuminated with homogeneous light banks are finding their way to the taillights. That make it the all-LED headlight in the X6 E71 LCI is not at least unlikely, because in addition to the previously three 6-7-series, the revised versions will also be encountered with this technology already on the road.
Also interesting are the upcoming changes at the plate, and particularly under the hood, because the facelift for the BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupe equipped with the latest stages of development of petrol and diesel engines. Specifically, this means that the models X6 xDrive 30d, xDrive40d, xDrive35i and xDrive50i feature new engines, the maximum available in the fall of 2012 in terms of efficiency should embody.
Also comes with the facelift and the legendary Triturbo diesel in the BMW X6 xDrive50d, where it is said to act like an inline six cylinder with 3.0 liters displacement and three turbochargers. The peak power of this engine, which will celebrate according to our information available in March 2012 in his other series premiere will be located just below the mark of 400 hp. The standard consumption of Triturbo moves on the other hand, the level of the Biturbo and is thus significantly lower than comparable diesel engines with more powerful engine displacement and more cylinders.
Thus equipped, the BMW X6 E71 LCI will also still be attractive in 2014, because before that is not its replacement by the new BMW X6 to expect F16. Once there are more details about the facelift or the new engines, we will of course report on it.

Not as awesome as Audis V12 diesel. For the life of me I can't understand why this power plant hasn't been dropped into the Bentley Mulsanne, it's a beast of an engine.
