Hiked Half Dome in Yosemite this weekend v. PICS & VID

After years of wanting to do this trip, i finally got a chance to backpack through Yosemite and hike to the top of Half Dome.

We did it by hiking to Little Yosemite Valley and camping for the night. Then the next day we waited till the late afternoon to start our hike up to the top of Half Dome to watch the sunset and have dinner up there. Then we hiked down in the dark and camped one more night before heading back down to the valley.

It was an inexplicably amazing trip! Lots of fun moments, a big physical challenge, and the chance to make new friends, all add up to one memorable weekend.

haha yeah man, we were pretty prepared. I'm not personally a fan of hiking poles, but the 2 friends that had them seemed to like them. And the MREs (army food as you called it) were awesome backpacking food. And yeah we definitely needed lights since we knew we wanted to come down the cables after sunset.
