End of Summer Thread
Since summer is coming to an end soon, I figured we could create a topic for what \'must-do\'s\' we can reccomend to each other before Fall starts, or at least share some highlights from the summer.
My summer started strong with bball after work each night and then I broke my ankle MDW in Rhode Island being a drunk ass. Spread a solid amount of new cheeks and also started a new job. I reccomend you go to any outdoor concert while you can. Inb4threadderails

I move back up to campus for another year of college tomorrow.
My summer began with a family trip to Chicago (awesome, AWESOME city), then California visiting family. Highlight - going to see U2 in Nashville. We got there extra early so we ended up being about 10ft from the band. It was beyond miserable waiting out in the sun, but the show was more than worth it. It was also kinda fun suffering with thousands of other fans, including your friend. So long summer of '11

lol at the warm climate posts these types of threads tend to accumulate...thread about is about summer ending, not whether or not it get's colder where you live or girls start wearing more clothing. It'd be like me replying to Greg's post about going back to school by saying "not in school anymore so I don't know what the fuck your talking about." Cool, not only does no one care, there's fap thread for those who like stroking themselves. Summer is defined by more than weather...no matter your climate, you still have 4 seasons
This summer: Worked a lot, studied a lot, partied a lot. Some cars mixed in for good measure. |

I'm actually excited for summer to be over. Everything slows down a bit over the summer because going out when its 100+ at night sucks. Once it cools down everything should start picking back up and getting crazy.

Yea, the outflux of people in AZ during summer is ridiculous...the summer I spent in Tucson it was like the population was cut in half over night after spring semester ended. Monsoon season there was fucking awesome though

I barely partied this summer. My tolerance is going to be such shit when I come back to school. I'm going to be a cheap ass date.

This summer is pretty good. I went to some amazing shows and got to see 2 of my 3 favorite artists/bands. Bassnectar in early June in Baltimore, and Ratatat in Central Park in mid-July. Im going to see my third favorite, The Avett Brothers, in September, so +100 on going to an outdoor show!
I killed my summer class. I'm a little excited for my last semester, it'll definitely be different. I spent the first 2 months working with my buddy on his new business, it was a good experience and helped put me on my path to my dream. This summer has shaped me a lot. I've got my 335 lease ending on the 26th, and Ive saved up miles so now its all fun (AWWWW YEAAAAAAAA) but also means Im looking for another car, possibly an MKVI GTI. We've had a good amount of pool parties and beach trips, with more to come... Lets end it good!

What was Bassnectar's set like? I haven't come across any live rips, but can imagine his live show would be pretty eclectic and entertaining
