I once took a car ride in my sister's host parents car in japan. We drove through the Kawagoe prefecture. It was the scariest and jerkiest ride I have ever experienced. She would have never been able to get her license in America. She drove with two feet and half the time she was depressing the brake while hitting the gas. Every stop was extremely abrupt and she would hit the brakes anytime someone passed her in the oncoming lane. Scary.. scary shit. She had supposedly been driving for 30 years. I don't believe it.

I have been to China... the shit I saw there was a combination of really bad drivers and really aggressive drivers. Which is a terrible combination. It is like when someone from the mid west tries to drive through Manhattan. You can spot them a mile a way and you learn to avoid them.
