Even though you may not have hit the sync button from your Android device you will see most if not all your contacts online. Even though you may not have hit a remember all youtube videos seen list there is a list of every video you have seen online. Even though you did not ask Google to keep track of every website you have visited there is a list of every site you have visited. The list goes on and on..

Go to Google and then type in Google Dashboard. Log in and see for yourself. I you delete the contacts from the list it supposedly deletes all your contacts from your smartphone as well.
