Heading to Vegas 1st Time

So I am sure this has been covered but since new things are popping up all the time I am looking for OT\'s input. Heading to Vegas on Sunday and will be there until Tuesday night. I am then traveling over to SoCal but I am there all the time so no need for help there. What are some things I must do while in Vegas?? I am staying at Aria on the strip if that matters...

Good choice, the rooms at the Aria are really nice. I'm not sure if you like clubs, but Marquee is open and packed on Monday nights. It's in the Cosmopolitan, so it is a short walk from the Aria. If you do want to go to a club with a small group of people, I would always suggest making a table reservation ahead of time for bottle service. Doing so means you don't have to wait forever in the normal line and the cover is usually waived. You do still have to tip the host who seats you though. If you get tired of gambling and don't want to bother with clubs, the Cosmopolitan also has a cool center bar called the Chandelier which is fun to hang out at for some drinks.

Be sure to check out the fountains at the Bellagio as well. It's a fun free thing to do.

Voodoo lounge at the Rio is awesome. Crazy view of the strip and decently priced drinks.

and club XS at Encore is teh shiznit way over priced drinks though so pregame it

yeah my girl was there over new years

$16 a drink, but that 1 drink did get her past tipsy lol

The guys have already given you a good idea of the club scene...

I like expensive meals. I did Carne Vino and Craftsteak @ MGM while I was there. Both were about $100-$120 person for food alone, but I enjoyed it. My glass of Glen Levit 18 year was outrageous though, like $30+ if I remember.

yup $16. I had like 4 long island iced teas. and 2 $12 shots. and ended up buying drinks for other people. Spent about $350 there. I did get in for free though on the VIP list.

ask the host at the hotel you are staying at. I stayed at PH towers when I went.

Edit: also if you want to go to voodoo just go to rio and there is a desk there with a person giving out VIP cards. or walk around the playing area and there are some people giving them out also

OP go to PH and sign up for their club card(it's free). You get one free spin on their machine outside everyday and you win something every time. Big prize is $1million but they have free dinner, free drinks, etc.

I'm going to be staying at the MGM Signature. Since I don't gamble or smoke, it works. and the rooms are great.

I'll have my girl look into it, she's the one who wants to go clubbing, not me.
