I sponge at the drainers one in a while and have been litterly surfing with the dolphins so at that point u think all the fins are dolphins.

Im sure it could come across a shark!

It is obviously a dolphin!!! Look at the Caudal fin it is horizontal which signifies dolphin. A vertical fin would signal shark.

Dolphin, but when you're in the water, it's ALWAYS a huge shark. I remember one day at Pt. Mugu, me and a buddy paddle into a nice left barrel, I've got position on him but then this HUGE shark comes under me just like that picture. I bail, and when my buddy gets back to the lineup he says the dolphin was skipping the tube right in front of him the whole way.
