Nice video, but isn't 218 a little slow for having 1200hp?

That's for a 1 mile run.

It is faster than both those cars right there:

I've never seen the words "218" (mph) and "slow" in the same sentence before.

How is that a world record? The test wasnt done from a stop. Thats why its called the standing mile.
Not to mention, it doesnt even come close to the standing mile record.

does sound killer from the side lines though and certainly hauls ass!

Maybe it was a GT-R only record?

It got there pretty fast. Plus the engine is limited by its gearing, I am sure it can go 240 easily

True. It seemed like after 210, it hit a wall.

I would expect a much higher speed than 218 if its geared correctly.

I was wondering if by the time I scrolled to the bottom if anyone posted the Camaro and Ford GTs Texas mile speeds. But 1200 BHP is a lot but only hitting 218 in a mile is kinda slow in retrospec of the Camaro and Ford GT plus the other cars that have gone faster. So it has to be a world record for the GT-Rs.
