Performance of current BMW cars v older models
It seems like these cars get quicker as each new model is released.
Does anyone know where to get 0 - 60 figures for 3 & 5 series cars as they were sold in the 1980s?

Try to search for scanned or archived road & track or motortrend issues. if I remember, every month they were featured in the back of the mag.

I had a 528i auto in the late 90's and the 0 - 60 was about the same as the 320d auto I have ordered. Interesting to note that manual box knocked 0.7s off the time back then. At the time, I thought the 528i was an absolute flying machine (after my Volvo 440 lol).
