who would win???? 335i vs. Z4M roadster

So do any of you guys know who might win??? All my friends are telling me that the 335i will because of the turbo, but the Z4M is a lot lighter. Thanks.

I think there's been a few discussions on this. Maybe a search will help.

I searched on Yahoo! for some performance numbers and based on that, I think it would be a very close race. The figures are almost the same.

z4m would destroy a 335i in a race. they're ugly, but fast as hell.

Definitely ugly as hell.. can't wait to they re-design them. I had a regular Z4 smoke me pretty good, although I only own a 325i.. Euro bimmers are faster anyway I hear.

the Z4M has the e46 M engine right? I would say the Z4M, after all it is a ///M.

If it were a straight line race, I would guess it would be close--until higher speeds where I would guess the Z4 M would pull away. On a track, with twistys, I would think the smaller, lighter Z would also do better. Just guessing though.

You can't see the 335i (closer to the camera) zoom by and end up ~ 1 CL ahead of the Z4M?

Hey, I didn't do the video...just posted what someone else had posted (today in fact)...that's all. I know that it's a close race between a stock 335i and a stock Z4M; I also know that a PROcede 335i absolutely walks a stock Z4M.

Well as the brake lights start to mesh into the other lights because the camera doesn't zoom--it isnt that convincing. Watch the other video posted--its like 7 minutes--the 335 gets smoked twice, by a lot more than 1 CL....
