They forget to put 'when it's running'...I owned an A4 and two S4's and they were all plagued with issues that made me steer clear of VW/Audi products pretty much forever. I think the S5 is a good looking car and it's obviously quick but my guess is that it will have a hard time keeping up with a stock 335. We'll see what happens when it hits the streets...

What I'd like to see is a 5-60/100 comparison. I want to know how much of that is the AWD and them raping the clutch on the launch or if you can get a similar time without the almost assured clutch ownage they used.

The Motortrend Test Drive video stated the S5 did 0-60 at a little over 5 seconds. It also stated it wasn't the ultimate driving machine like the BMW 335i. According to the blog, it seems the clutch took a beating to get those numbers. Still, I think the car should perform well in the 5-60 rolling start. Plus, the car looks nice to me.

When wasn't it in M3 territory as far as cost went? The S4 was M3 cost.

nice car but if you look at 1/4 mile the 335i is not far behind. he 0-60 is better because of the AWD. The interior on thr s5/a5 is a lot nicer than the 335i though and I am not afraid to admit it even if I sell BMW.

Just a little teaser. This S5 is going to be mine next week (if everything goes as planned). Will post better quality pics after taking delivery. These are a couple of pics that i took with my cellphone when i went to take a very first look at the car yesterday.
