2014 C7 corvette rendered video.

Looks kind of different but I have a mixed opinion. I hate the backside as the bumpers look akward but the front looks very F458ish....which is not that bad.

Quote:
Back in November, Jalopnik was the first to show the expected styling based on leaked information they obtained. Last month, we got another sneak peek at the face of the new Chevrolet Corvette thanks to an accidental web preview of the molding process for the front fascia. Based on the leaked information so far, and the Jalopnik images in particular, Trinity Animation produced a slick, detailed video showing what they believe the C7 will look like from all angles and in motion, right down to the LED running lights and Camaro-inspired taillamps.

458 from the front...GTR from the side...The back just looks like a wall with lights and exhaust pipes...

Other than the shape of the trim around the tail lights, I think that it looks good.

Im not sold that this is close to the new Corvette coming. Seen this many times over the years where the guesstimates before unveiling are way off base. Im still waiting to see what the new model will be powered with. I'll be keeping my C6 anyway. For me, its the nicest syle Corvette since the C2 and I have it set up just the way I love it.

+1000.....exactly. I would like them to continue with the quad round lights but lets see what happens as changes might occur.

One of the few cars where people are as concerned with the upcoming model's interior as much as the exterior. The few that I've been in had me thinking back to the shit I got as rentals... although I soon forgot about it when the light turned green because those things are pretty damn quick, even stock. But then the light turns red again, I look around inside, and am like "aww shit...."

It looks alright. It certainly would be a considerable change from the previous generation (I guess about as much as C3 to C4). I do wish they did like Porsche did with the 911 and just kept modifying the C2 style. They could have made this another car without the corvette name, but I suppose then they wouldn't sell as many.

The interior has bothered me for the past couple generations, so it would be nice to see an improvement in that area.

Meh. Let's see the production version before wasting breath critiquing.

"The design of the vehicle depicted in this film are based on publicly available illustrations and photos..." So basically jack shit of jack shit.

It turns out this video might be quite close to the real thing. It seems to match up to some pics that have been found:

Those schematics of the exterior and the interior if it is the real deal looks good. Let's see if there is a vast difference in the quality used to build the Corvette especially the interior.

I can't wait to see how this schematics translate into the real thing... very excited.

HKS has what looks to be pretty close to the real deal. I know they've spent a ton of time on the interior quality and fit and finish. Only time will tell if it has paid off, but I'm liking the more aggressive look so far.
Supposed to come VERY close to 3000lbs and 450hp for the base Vette. Will be a very quick car if that's true.

If it looks like that video then I will be impressed. That's a good looking car. But I suspect the edges and lines will be a little off, and it that will make the different between the car looking great, and it not looking fully coherent.

Looks awkward to me. Very much like the GTR, but more sleek. I guess we'll see by next month

HKS, thanks for sharin bro. So this source was quite accurate. Must be a former GM engineer who leaked the info.

ANyway,I am still hoping the back would be different but all the sources point to a Camaro flat back style which I don't prefer. I dunno why couldn't they go with the round lights but anyway...lets c.
