Well I'd estimate he was going about 110-120 MPH for much of the video, although he significantly slowed down (to around 90 MPH) right before he went into a skid.
Speed was probably the biggest factor here. |

Is nobody else utterly creeped out by the words on the radio right before he goes into his potential death skid?
"Your time has run out Let your soul run free" And then right when he recovers some dude on the radio yells "cuatro!!" (as in, Audi's quattro system having something to do with saving his life). It's all so coincidental and eerie. |

Nice. I had the same thing happen to me when I was 18 in a RWD 4runner without traction control. The steering on that was very slow so I was sawing at the wheel like crazy. The key was to stay on the gas.
