Watched it live yesterday, definitely one of those moments in history I am so happy to have witnessed. I was a little annoyed that they cut away from the free fall when he hit mach 1, I mean, I understand why they did it, but after knowing that he survived breaking the sound barrier, I'm bummed they didn't show it.

I remember last October on German TV (the week before his jump) they showed how Felix was so crazy he jumped off of a lot of weird things and places. Free style. He jumped onto a trackor trailer truck while it headed South into Italy on the Brenner A1 Autobahn... when the truck drove over the TALL bridge(in the right lane)... he jumped off of it!! What a NUT! And that bridge is really far off the ground/valley!

I was surprised to see how close he came to not jumping at all and how much the project was delayed. I don't remember hearing anything about it, possibly on purpose, until the day or two before his jump.
