So I need a gift for my wife...
Yea...it's that time of year.
Problem: We're been together for 8+ years so there isn't anything left to get her that would be original. Her solution: She wants something homemade/crafty instead of me going and spending money on something she will not use or doesn't need. My reaction: FUCK MY LIFE - complete blank! I have no idea what to get her...nor what to make her. She's turning 27. Any help from those that have been in my shoes??? |

 How about something like a coupon book. Cheesy but she'd love it. Things like breakfast in bed, massage, date night, clean the house. |

What about photos? Get some printed, framed up? You could even get some printed in a fridge magnet form as well.

Two suggestions:
1) Transform photos into something she likes (phone case, calendar, mugs, etc.). My wife loves the pewter Christmas tree ornaments that shutterfly does: http://www.shutterfly.com/photo-gifts/ornaments . But there are a lot of options that Kinkos or the online shops can do. 2) Diamonds. Diamonds are ALWAYS appropriate. When in doubt, diamonds. Big ones. Make a custom voucher coupon booklet. Each voucher is good for one use for example:
She can tear off a "Husband will wash dishes" voucher or "Husband will cook tonight" just maker like 10 of them that have an expiration date to let her know it's real! haha OR Make a scrapbook of memorable days you guys have had but instead of pictures use items. For example, I saved the receipt of me and my girls first date or tickets from a show or a shell from a beach. This shows you've been planning this gift for a long time. It got me my first lay.... with her at the time. Not that you should have any issues getting laid, or... Good luck! |
