Htc J from Taiwan, works in Canada or not?
Hello folks,
A friend of mine comes to visit and will stay for a few months. I thought it'd be easier to get him a SIM card and a local cell number. He brought his own phone which was purchased from Taiwan and I believe it is an unlocked phone. The model is Htc J. I am not very familiar with that. Anyways, we got the number and SIM card all set up last night and somehow, the phone does not pick up service signals. (With Virgin Mobile). I wonder if anyone know how to figure out the settings? (I tried to google it but those tech related discussion looks like some unknown languages to me.) Cheers,

You have to find out which frequencies/bands Virgin Mobile CA runs on and which bands that the HTC J Butterfly can accept.
