TOP GEAR UK show
I am really confused and cannot find any info on the Top Gear show. I watched the new season beginning of this year every Monday and all of a sudden they stopped airing new episodes. Anyone know what is going on with the show?

The seasons aren't very long and it is currently not in season. The two part Africa special was the season finale. You're also like 20 years late to the Top Gear party...

Fat people singing is what stopped the season from starting earlier last year. And then my guess is the BBC doesnt think the show gets as many views as other shows and isn't worth making more episodes.

This. But it makes financial sense for them to show shitty shows as people watch those.

I also have a feeling that because a lot of people don't catch every new episode of Top Gear on the BBC when it airs and its easier and cheaper to download episodes than buy 19 seasons of DVDs, their idea of how many people watch it is a lot less than the real fan base.

they've been on a consistent 6-8 episode, 2 season/yr schedule for the past few years. Skipped a season due to london olympics. it's been renewed through the end of 2015 so I'm sure they'll produce the regular amount of episodes until then. |
