Are you on Dial-up (56k) ?

Is anyone still on dial-up internet access? I always see picture threads with "56k beware" and think it's totally useless. But is it really needed?

Who the hell uses 56k anymore? My phone has a higher transfer rate than that.

Unfortunately my mom doesn't see the reason in spending an extra couple of dollars per month for some f'in broadband. We're still on mostly modern dialup here. Now my dad's is 100% high speed awesomness.

My DSL feels slow sometimes...
I can't imagine how 56k feels like.

My man has a 335, but cant afford a couple extra bucks for dialup.

its fucking true, whenever you see a guy with a BMW/MB, make the assumption that they squeezed every penny out of their pocket to buy it
