I would recommend non 'premium' brand.

From your list I would say Honda all the way.

with the direction bmw is going, they might not be very fun to drive anymore when you're financially ready to buy one.

from your list, i'd pick the g35 or Honda. if the Honda is a stick shift, then i'd pick that for sure. they make some of the best manuals in the business

DO NOT get a Solara. Unless the A in AKE53 stands for Alexis, Alexandria, etc...

I would look at the Acura TSX. Nice little package and extremely reliable.

Yeah the TSX is the Euro accord - the Acura brand doesn't exist in Europe at all. Even the Civic is different there.

Thanks for the offer on the coding but my BMW is gone and I have a VAG-COM for my S4 already.

I have never seen anything more reliable than Toyota. If that is your game get a Toyota.

The trucks are unreal for reliability. My dad has a 1998 4Runner with 340,000 miles on it. He's only replaced a clutch, an ignition, and brake pads once. Other than that it's just oil changes - and they're fairly lazy about that as well. We've had Corollas and Camrys that also all went over 200k. They go back and forth from Fairfield County to Cape Cod all summer so the miles rack up quick.
