Doesn't have the aggressive look of the previous Vs, IMO.

True, but I believe more powerful/aggressive version is coming: "Even the Vsport Premium will eventually be just an intermediate step up to the monster V, the new version of which hasn’t been revealed yet"

This isn't the V. This is the Vsport. Kinda like Msport. It's supposed to go up against the 550. The V will arrive with the big guns later.

The performance is all there. I don't think anyone can deny what GM is doing on that front.

The ATS-V should be awesome.

The shape of this car reminds me of the first gen Infiniti M45. It has that American muscle look like the old Monte Carlo or Grand National.

Oh - and I didn't notice that this was the V-Sport edition so I retract my earlier criticism. This car looks the part.

A great example of how to make a hood cut line that doesn't look like a Sawzall was involved. Also an impressively low hood line.

Has any base-model CTS rocked one of those V8s?

450 lbs lighter than a 550i? Sounds good to me, bring on the V!

Agreed...Too much chrome for a sport model. Also how big does the front badge have to be? Great job on the chassis GM!

Is it too much to ask for a CTS-4 V? Had the previous gen had an AWD option, I don't think I could've asked for a better DD to exist. I think with AMG offering 4-Matic on their new AMG's, GM could follow and offer an AWD CTS-V. They've got the platform to do it.

I hope not. They know better than to ruin the car with AWD.

Yup, like what the hell were they thinking with the side profile?
It definitely also needs to MUCH larger wheels to fill those arches.

It's a pity Cadillac moved out of SA not so long ago. From what I've seen, they are producing great cars..

Don't worry. The Aisin 8 speed is not AWD capable.

Larger wheels = more mass

You can get 19's on the lesser models but only 18's on the Vsport. The engineers know what they are doing.

I was wondering how come they made a slower car than the already 2 years revealed M5. thanks for the clarification

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!
