So how many..
of you drive for the pleasure of driving, suffer the daily grind with comfort and luxury options, and how many drive to be seen?
In other words, do you choose cars based more on driving dynamics, based on comfort for the grind and/or family, or bling potential? Talking about daily drivers here, whatever you have in the garage for weekends or the track doesn't count. For myself I compromised on the first two, enough comfort and luxury not to hate getting in the car and enough of a drivers car that I could enjoy it on just about any road. |

Most important thing for me is the looks of the vehicle and interior. I used to drive a Dodge truck, so anything will drive better than that. Performance is not something I worry about since I now live in America and you cannot drive fast anyway. Besides, all cars are "fast" these days.

I have recently changed my mentality on mods- going to go mainly for looks.
yes it's nice to have 500hp and all, but whats the use on public roads? Unless you are tracking your car, all those performance mods mean nothing when there's a 75mph speed limit. Yes, you beat me getting to the next stop light. So what? we still ended up at the same place- you just have to wait longer until the light turns green. A 335i (or even a 328i) is plenty fast enough for a DD.

I'm the asshat that likes to oversteer on public roads (when nobody's around).
Speeding is boring and a gateway to tickets. I don't get much enjoyment out of straight line runs anymore.

Looks are important to me, but not the attention it brings. Caveat of having my beautiful E92 is all these posers trying to race me unprovoked and all I'm doing is cruising at the speed limit in the right lane.
