I'm still not a fan of the rounded vents and screen but overall looks good due to quality of materials (as far as I can see). If it had square vents and integrated screen it would have been a true winner. Still though, it should look good against F30.

On another note, I wish MB would stop stretching the front intakes to the edge of the front bumper. Apart from that I'm looking forward to seeing new C class. The proportions look great (short rear end, longer nose).

what a nasty, cheap looking interior.

I am not a big fan of the Floating Screen style the MB and BMW seems to be trending towards. They just look out of place to me. I always preferred the intergrated screen style as well. It just seemed to blend better that way. The connectivity looks promising though. I am looking forward to having more internet cababilities in our cars!

Also, it looks like MB is starting to extend the Ambient Lighting feature to putting lights behind/around the Tri-Star emblem. It looks like it was added with classy taste, but I am sure some people will see it as too "ricey".

A GARGANTUAN improvement over the current C. It is simply beautiful. I see a lot of S-class interior cues drawn in the interior there, which is a good thing.

The 'continuous' door panels are pretty cool and makes it seem a class above its own. You also can't go wrong with a leather dash.

MB have really stepped it up. It's no wonder since the F30 really set the benchmark..

The floating screen is atrocious

I assume that big cover is where the manual will go for the markets that get one?

It looks like someone took a tablet and some double sided 3M tape to the console.

I love this interior. I am seriously considering a change (dare I say to MB) after the 128 serves its purpose. I love the round vent system, everything looks very sleek and not over crowded with dials and buttons. Everything seems to flow very well inside the cabin, and looks very comfortable at that.

Thanks for sharing!

+1.

I've always liked the double-hump of the E9X's screens but the floating screen looks like some cheap universal add-on you'd find in SkyMall to mount your I-pad on the dash of your car.

Overall I like the new C's interior, including the round vents. I'm gladly surprised they got rid of the giant tach in the center of the gauge cluster but now it looks a bit Audi-esque. I do like the idea of a touch-screen or some sort of 'mouse' to control the on-board display.

So, will the new C have a "65" with a twin turbo V8?

I don't think there will be a C65. The new C-AMG will have a twin turbo V8, but its a newly designed 4.0 liter motor. The "65" moniker is usually saved for V12 AMG motors.

Best in class. That's gorgeous (save for the screen). I can't wait until Audi redesigns the A4.

Yeah, it was weird the refreshed C63 went from knurled metal knobs to silver plastic. Glad to see all the knobs and switches look to be knurled in this interior, this is just the base C-class. The AMG treatment should be something.

Nothing says classy interior like diamond-knurled switch-gear.. Bentley comes to mind The AMG will definitely be a delight.

Ouch, it's not that bad! It's definitely better than anything in its class currently.

I'd love to have a problem like that. But it is seriously a difficult problem to solve!
