Got a new car!
Traded in my 2007 328i for a 2014 GTI.
Love the car so far. Unfortunately I'm outta town for work the rest of the week so I can't drive it or get any better pics but it seems like it's going to be a fun car. Hopefully not nearly as problematic at the BMW was. It's the Driver's Edition... not even sure what all is different from the Wolfsburg but I like it. FWD is going to take some getting used to. It's my first ever brand new car. Nice having a warranty. |

One of the best FWD cars you can buy at the moment. Good choice. DSG?

My MKV GTI was the best car I've ever owned. Congrats!

Thanks guys. Really lovin it so far. I thought about waiting for the next model year but I drove it and I was pretty satisfied. Plus my car was having some issues. Just spent $1700 on repairs had some intermittant lights on the dash and I couldn't risk waiting another year money-wise.
No complaints from me so far. I may look into a few performance mods but it'll all depend on what will and won't void my warranty. I've got 120k miles of worry free driving so I don't want to lose that for a few extra hp. |
