Would it be illegal to...

i live in Trinidad, and i rock euro plates all the time, back and front. i was wondering if it would be illegal to/would i get into trouble if i put the european union flag on my car like how the embassy does for their cars?

people who dont know me personally, assume my car belongs to the dutch embassy here, so i figured, why not, and go all out? but i dont want to get pulled over/prosecuted by the embassy/government... is this legal to do? you dont have to know the laws for trinidad, but in your country, would this present a problem with the authorities?

i mean, it would make my 3er look fucking sick! considering in this country, a 3series is like god here lol. i know some people would say: thats a retarded idea, a 3 series isnt worthy of this.

but here, a 3er is like:

thanks for the input,
Kiemyster

I don't believe impersonating an official vehicle, from your own country or that of a consulate, will be greeted with happiness. Are there matching license plates for vehicles used by government officials?

Flag or decal? I don't think its illegal to have them on your car, not at all. We see foos putting all sorts of flags on their cars here in the US. Although your plates should be illegal.

Passing through where you are on my trip to Geo this Thursday

Probably not a good idea. Why the hell would you want to ruin the hood lines with flags sticking up is beyond me, though euro plates are badass.

yea you could, they might just think you work at the embassy or something. E90's with clear windows arent usually diplomatic cars. If it were a 7 series or an S class on the other hand, with dark tinted windows......then you'd have something to worry about

Its these types of cars that carry those flags, and only these types of cars that get that sort of attention. If i were to see government related flags on an otherwise normal car, i'd just think its an employee.

One of the dumbest ideas I've heard.
"Oh hey, look at me, I have an EU flag on my car to trick you into thinking I'm some special diplomat."

Find a less pathetic way to please yourself, for your own sake. Christ.

IMO, it looks like that flag belong on a child (or on a bday cake)... not the flag itself, but the size of the flag, etc...

If you like it, go for it... but i do think it's the high-end large sedans (i.e. a8, 750li, etc) that should have these flags...

Don't fuss about it... like you always comment, when in doubt, just spark the j.
