I'd love to see some of these cars going 200+ on the roads, but I'll be staying home for my safety.

One of my best friend's GT-R was finished by Boost Logic tonight, and he'll be there. He asked me to join him, but I cannot make it unfortunately. Fun fact: since his GT-R "only" has 1,227 bhp, which means he'll be bringing down the average amount of horsepower per vehicle at the event.

I don't think they were going that fast. One of the later vehicles that passed was a full-size, lifted truck with big tires. That truck wasn't going slow by any means, but unless you can confirm the film vehicle was doing upwards of 100 i would say that truck was doing 115-120. I'd guess the lead cars were doing 140ish
It's not often we get passed by someone doing even 30mph faster than us; when we do, it looks very fast. Getting passed at a 60mph difference, which i suspect this was, looks incredibly fast. Film vehicle ~80mph - fly by cars ~140ish. I've been buzzed by 120, 140 and 160mph when doing 80. I could be convinced that the 2 lead cars were on that video were doing upwards of 150 and the following 3 or so cars were doing 140 but i would argue the rest were under 120. If i had to wager cash though, i'd put my money on 140mph +/- 5mph for those lead cars.

uhm, i'm not really entirely sure why you felt is was necessary to break down this whole speed thing. It's not like it's rocket science. Bottom line is, they were hauling ass. |
