BimmerGuyFL78 wrote So today our dealership Received several brand new X3’s. BMW should be ashamed on the quality of the Materials used throughout the entire interior. The entire lower dash is rough hard plastic, the sides of the center console, the upper B-pillars, the back of the seat back covers. The middle to lower inteior door cards. All of it hard cheap hollow cheap plastic.
The edges on the lower door panel/storage pockets are not even rounded off. You can see the edge where it has that little line that’s not buffed out and feels rough and sharp to the touch.
The new woven dashboard and upper part of the front and rear doors feels unsubstantial and thin.
Seriously I cannot understand how a car that costs $55k-$70k feels so cheap.
That's very disappointing to hear. And these are just the things you can see where they cut corners...makes you wonder about where you can't see it.
