Some years back BMW did a marketing thing about adding some foam stuff in the tires to make the cars less noisy. Do we know if that is still the case, or have they skipped this? Do we know if the iX3 will have them?
Thanks.

Unlikely since the cars seem to come with 4 different brands of tyre.

i'd be interested in knowing too. Many EV specific tyres do come foam filled so not impossible. my current Polestar has all tyre options foam filled whichever maker they are from (so far as I am aware).
I've not had any issues over 4 years and 2 different cars but I know some have had foam come loose which badly affects handling and noise. Covered by manufacturers warrnty without question.

it's not BMW. it's not the car. it's the tire manufacturer. i buy tires with foam in them for my ICEs.
