At dealer only, mine was on hold until updated, now have a recall for another update, booked into dealer next month

They will but at first the often make the dealer update only in case of issue they can help resolve issues, then they roll them out OTA. On the X1 forum it wasn’t unknown for updates to brick a car, very rare and we have had no issues but it’s not a zero risk especially early on.

FYI my car shows version 03/2026.34. Delivered 4 days ago so not sure if this was already in the car or updated OTA.....
Header of this post is a bit confusing as sw versions are not written as 2026.03.32 but as 03/2026.34....

Has anyone seen the details/summary of the sw updates?

There is a ”button” in the car bur it does not work in 03/2026.32

I got a recall so I guess that my car will get an update tomorrow

I am still on the 11/2025 with no recall or OTA updates pending...

Users of the new version at least let us know if there are changes in the functionality, such as:

• Does "automatic lock/unlock by approaching" work with the key fob?
• Does the cooling of the wireless charger work?
• Can you control the A/C settings of the rear seat from the main screen?

Those three are the stuff that I am lacking most.

Today I got 03/2026.34 installed. No details whats fixed or new in this version
