Don't get me wrong - I do absolutely not want to underestimate these issues for those of you where this matters. Just noting the "different worlds" :D
Same boat here - going over 130 km/h here in Ontario is asking for a trouble.

One good thing - they banned speed cameras this year, so at least I don't have to worry about that

Sort of funny - we live in different parts of the world, with different conditions. :) I use my car mainly for commuting to work. This is a 35 km roundtrip, on which I face seven (!) speeding cameras set at 70 and 80 km/h. Other times I'll travel inland roads in northern Sweden, where a 100 km/h speed limit are rare.

So when reading comments on "consumption at 130 km/h" and issues with "vibrating hoods in 150 km/h" I'm a bit off! :) I doubt that I will ever drive my new iX3 in 150 km/h.

Yes mate same here. Speed cameras everwhere, speed radar detectors illegal and if you got caught doing 150 km/h then you would immediately have your licence suspended. We also have many periods of the year - school holidays, public holiday weekends and celebratory periods where we have 'double demerits' which is where speeding demerit points are doubled (ie 20km over the limit goes from 4 points to 8 points, with a licence limit of 12 points). So our issue has become slow drivers, incapable of engaging cruise control and paranoid about speeding, sitting 5-20 km/h below the limit.

This is of course a digression from the real issue, that the hood should not be vibrating at 150 km/h, when BMW advertises the top speed of the iX3 as 210 km/h. If the hood is vibrating at 150 what happens at 210, the hood ruptures?
