JerryTBall wroteSeeing Eucalyptus with those wheels and a green interior works for meMy sales person went to Tennessee this past weekend for training on the new car and sent me some of these pictures from Nashville
Saxon5353 wroteI have no idea my girl(sales person) was up there the 28th and the 29th. I believe she just got back yesterday.Wow! All those iX3s sitting downtown? Why hasn't my dealer not notified me? Anyone know if one is available for a look?
JerryTBall wroteWow, that's quite a lot of iX3s. And to me the red one stands out the most. Thanks for posting. My sales person went to Tennessee this past weekend for training on the new car and sent me some of these pictures from Nashville
SecondEV wrote200 BMW Drive Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey is the US corporate and sales headquarters for BMW.And, curiously, they all have Jersey plates.
Saxon5353 wroteBecause it was a private event for BMW dealers. No public allowed.Wow! All those iX3s sitting downtown? Why hasn't my dealer not notified me? Anyone know if one is available for a look?
I'm not inclined to sign a purchase agreement until I have driven the car, and it would be disappointing to have to delay the transaction two or three months because no demo unit is available.
DavidG23 wroteI understand; i refused to give a deposit on my iX until i saw one in person and got a chance to measure the cargo space (to compare properly to my X5) and to get a sense of the materials and build quality. Once that was donei placed my reservation but that delayed my acquisition by many months and i honestly regretted it. Given how little money the deposit i needed to give was, i should have just made the reservation first then if the demo wasn't to my satisfaction just cancelled and gotten my deposit back.I received a text this morning from my sales rep here in Ohio stating that the dealership had sent a genius out for iX3 training last week. He added that there was some messaging during the training that suggested they may not receive a demo unit until September. No specific timeline for receiving a demo was provided, so I'm hoping they still receive one in June or July.

Under normal circumstances, you should be able to backout of a purchase/lease for any reason without even losing your deposit as it is supposed to be fully refundable. Just make it clear that you won't accept delivery without the test-drive before hand and you should be fine. Worst case should be that even if they have no demo or car you can test drive, you would be able to test drive your own car before accepting delivery. And if you need a few days to decide so be it.
ggalanis wroteThanks for the good suggestion. I know my deposit is refundable, but I had not considered being able to back out of a purchase agreement. I think I'll just push forward with the purchase provided the dealer confirms I can refuse delivery should I not be satisfied with the car.DavidG23 wroteI understand; i refused to give a deposit on my iX until i saw one in person and got a chance to measure the cargo space (to compare properly to my X5) and to get a sense of the materials and build quality. JerryTBall wroteI assume you are using the app? The poll in the first post is causing some sort of glitch in the app. It’s weird for some reason on this post I cannot see the original question I could see what I posted but I can’t see when anybody else is posting
Hopefully when you get notified of this message you can get into the thread below the poll.

Saxon5353 wroteThat wasn't to display. They were set up for drives for training center employees (1 per store)No public allowed--but they block off a whole street outside the Music City Center to display the cars.
