My car is still just at ORDER RECEIVED. I made my order on May 6th at a California dealership.

I have a production number on the site where I can see my iX3 order. It just says “order received.) I searched the web and got the answer that there is no online information related to any production number other than what’s on the My Garage site. However, they did list a BMW phone number to call - so I called and talked to a very knowledgeable rep. He said my car is set to start its ~ 10 day build on week 32, aka August 2. When that starts, my VIN will be viewable - takes another 5 or so weeks after the build for the car to get to the dealership. Which means if this holds true, car should come just about the time that my Mach E lease ends in September. He told me to call back anytime to check on the progress. Nice call.
Not in the UK unfortunately
Just curious if you have already locked the build and pricing with the local dealership?
Tipper - The dealer said my price would be the total as configured on the BMW build site + taxes and license. No added dealer markups - but I can add a maintenance and/ or warranty plan. I actually went back a second time to change my order to small extent and the current price includes those changes. I have a print out of everything including the cost. The car as shown in the BMW My Garage site shows exactly how I configured the car with all of the added options, including the recent changes. That site does not show a price.
There is a browser shortcut you can add that will give you the specific status code, or if you know how to use developer mode you can see the status information directly on the My Garage page. The My Garage page pulls a JSON blob from BMW that you can inspect, and it has an element for options, packages, price (which won't be a valid price), etc. In that blob you'll want to look for "orderStatusCode", "prodNum", and "vin" eventually.

If you search the forum for developer mode or "F12" you can find instructions, but if you know how to use developer mode in your browser it's all really simple.
