Those are also worth the asking price. Now, you don't have to upgrade if you don't feel compelled to, but it's not as if they're ripping you off, especially compared to something like Vista. |

i upgraded to leopard. It's really good. I like it. A bit quicker, and graphics are more improved. I find it easier to find or use the programs i use. Also time machine is just sick!... I have a 500gig that i partitioned into two. 300gigs for my time machine and the rest for storage.
i'm running: imac 17' 2.0ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 2gig memory 150gig hard drive

Installed Leopard on my Mac Pro and it works fine. Nice upgrade.
Only thing I can't stand is the transparent menu bar. I found the program Leo Color Bar that takes whatever image you want to use as a desktop and adds a dark color to the top 21 pixels. The effect is the menu bar can be made to appear opaque as it did before. http://homepage.mac.com/mdsw/md%20softworks.html Pic below shows the result. |

Maybe he purchased it between october 1st to whatever. If you purchased a computer between october 1st and later, and you didn't get Leopard installed, you can purchase it for 10.99 i think. or 10.00. Something like that

Its 10.57 shipped. but what you can do is use the up-to-date program and enter your serial number and say you bought it then. Works for some people mine was close to october maybe thats why?
